Since you have an open issue for verically stacked dimensions, maybe extending that to advanced rocketry. That would make the mod even more immersive as it is.

What specifically do you have in mind?
I'm not familiar with Advanced Rocketry and without any knowledge, building a rocket to see for myself might be a bit time consuming. A video which shows the current transition would also be nice (the tutorial video appears to skip it).
