I will say it has been working fine the past couple days, only now it's causing an issue and it may also be causing me to get instakicked from a server

I'm afraid I'll have to send you to bother the author of the SCP mod. They don't provide any source code for their mod, so I can't really help with issues related to it.
Just to be sure, I'd recommend you attach the full game log of when it happened, in case there's an error preceding (and possibly causing) the one which you were given explicit notice of.

If you create an issue over there, be sure to leave a link to it here so others who are experiencing the same issue can easily find it.
