Tesseracts must be placed after turbine is completely assembled

Just experimenting with 0.3.0A, and I had built an almost-entirely-complete turbine with tesseracts placed on cooling ports. I then built the reactor, set it up to push steam through one tesseract channel, and receive water on a different tesseract channel. I then primed the reactor with water and fuel, finished the turbine housing, activated the turbine, and turned on the reactor.
I had the vent closed, and the turbine started spinning momentarily but stopped. I then noticed it was full of steam AND water and had to break the water tesseract and re-place it on the exhaust port of the turbine to make it start going again.
Nope no ducts involved. Tesseract is directly on the port.

did you put the ducts between the tesseracts and the turbine?

for what I have seen from moving itens, energy and liquids and other stuff you need to put the TE tubes between the tesseract and where the liquids or whatever you are doing to go to
Have you seen the throughput limits on the fluiducts? 120mB/t of water, 360mB/t of steam. That's the entire reason for the change to how the coolant ports work for steam output on the reactors and water output on the turbines. How the heck else are we going to push/pull/move 2000mB/t of steam or water to/from the turbine? The point of the tesseract is that it behaves like a direct connection between two points in space. (Steam Output Port)->(Tesseract Sending)->(Tesseract Receiving)->(Steam Inlet Port) should behave exactly the same as (Steam Output Port)->(Steam Inlet Port). No throughput limit (aside from the turbine's 2000mB/t limit on what it can process), no messy network of fluiducts.
As a side note, EBeef has already said this is a bug, and it should work exactly as I set it up.
Yes, it's intended that coolant/fluid ports eject their contents into anything adjacent to them which can handle fluids. This happens in most cases, but the bug is that a fluid container which is placed prior to the completion of a turbine is not recognized by the turbine's fluid port.
Should be a simple fix for the next version, and there's an easy workaround.
I disagree. The mekanism pipes do well enough for a lot of use cases, directly connected aqueous accumulators and engineer toolkit devices as well. That's water supply side, and for steam consumption what I do is build the turbine directly connected to the reactor.

Perhaps I could also suggest reducing the water/steam amounts across the entire mod by 10? Instead of 2000mB, make it 200mB, etc, for storage, power generation, etc? That way a couple of ports can handle fluiducts for either substance rather than forcing the use of tesseracts in all cases. Right now tesseracts are the only option, period.

So, I'm rather consistently unable to reproduce this:
1 - Build partial turbine w/ steam creative port inlet and turbine fluid port.
2 - Whack turbine fluid port with wrench (note that this doesn't change the graphical appearance, but does set it to outlet mode - this is a bug)
3 - Place tesseract and configure it so that it transmits fluid.
4 - Place other tesseract on same channel, configure so it receives fluid.
5 - Place TE portable tank atop tesseract to receive water.
6 - Finish turbine and activate turbine.
7 - Observe tank filling up with water, as expected.
