Have a device, made from thaumcraft crystal shards, yellorium, and stone or greatwood, that draws the essentia from the nodes in the same way a wand on a recharging stand does. The device would collect the essentia and slowly convert it, drip for drip, into thaumic reactor fuel. Say, 1mb of fuel per single essentia. The balance would need to be different then this, but unsure exactly what. This device could require power of some sort to function; furnace fuel, RF, or even some of the essentia its self. Or, it could be a passive non-powered device using only yellorium ingots as a "catalyst"(fuel). It's efficiency/output would be a bit lackluster at first, but if more nodes were brought to it, it's efficiency/output would increase.

Could think of a possible side effect for a reactor using this fuel: Overheat = taint generation, then eventually meltdown. Run it hot at your own risk. Not overly bad since there are ways of dealing with taint in thaumcraft, though they are time consuming to setup and find.

There's already a "fuel from Thaumcraft nodes" entry on the roadmap. I haven't given any thought to the mechanics yet, but if I do write that feature, I'll think about what you've written.
