[enhancement] Support for bigger Turbines

It would be really nice, if you could add config options for the following things:

  • the fluid storages (water, fuel and steam. for both the reactor and the turbine)
  • the max steam consumption of the turbine

I currently run an big German moddet minecraft server and we want to build an "real" size reactor to provide energy for the whole server.

But the limit on the turbine is hindering our plans :/ (We wanted to build 2 big turbines in the "cooling towers" of the reactor building)
Also: The short water limit for the reactor makes it necessary to provide many small water providing task (which is not exactly cpu friendly ^^") instead of just pumping in massive amounts of water (and an 32x32x48 reactor is really water hungry...)

We could build many smaller reactors but it would be much cooler if the possible limits of this mod could really be used...

If i can ask for more...

It would be much "cooler" if you would add something like liquid storage extension blocks.
So if someone like me can use more resources to extend the storage quantities of the reactor.

For the turbines: Maybe an higher tier of turbine rotors and coils that can handle more steam throughput but are have more basic drag?

Currently we are using tesseracts for the water providing and steam sharing.

We have atleast 20? Tesseracts with 4 Aqueous Accumulators around it, just to provide enough water ticks. For the quantity of water maybe even half of it would be enough.
We also use the backflow water from the turbines directly via Tesseracts but its not enough.

Oh and yeah we know that not everyone will use the reactor. But it helps the server when we can recuce the spamming of low power generators.

You can attach more if you want.At least 5, or more with remote io.

And, you will use tesseracts with a bottleneck conduit to limit the transfer rate,so noone can drain too mutch? (This one is probably offtopic)

We use ten of the 40 milion storage cells as a prepuffer and bottleneck per sharing tesseract.

And we use one tesseract per turbine. (currently we have created 12 max (effectiv) size turbines and the excess steam goes in a tesseracts for sharing)

Hmm. While I get where you're coming from, I'd prefer to enable this sort of thing by providing alternative types of coolant which carry more energy per mB. That's the major planned feature for 0.4.

Tesseracts are having no limits for fluid transfer, not the coolest way, but the best for now.
Maybe a bit cheeper way (if its matters) to think is remote io.
I know that the Reactor size is configurable.

Amazing, powering a whole server from a single facility. But, for the real life's example, you can be happy if its supplies 60-70 percent of your needs.
