If the reactor is being controlled by redstone, not manually in the gui, the controller stays red/green, and updates after checking on the gui.

Interesting. Probably a missed client-side re-render of the controller. Does the same thing happen when activated/deactivated via computercraft/opencomputers?

I'm playing around with oc now, but i'm not at the level to control the reactor. So i did not tried the computer yet.
But i'm glad that the computer port works with oc.

How about if you use a RedNet controller? Does that also display this behavior?

Not tried yet, that will be the next.
There was an api change whitch caused crash with oc+rednet. Don't know if you have that bug.

I'm unaware of it. Please post the crash report in a new issue.
