Would love to see the computer port work for both CC and OpenComputers. While at first blush the mods are similar, they're both following very different design philosophies and fill very different niches.

Rather than another new block though, it'd be nice to have the existing data port auto-detect (or just not care, lol) which mod is connected to it and behave appropriately :)

I'm going to deny this feature request for now. I've just had a look at the OpenComputers API and there are some things I strongly dislike about it. The integration would not be easy, cheap or smooth.

However, I'll keep an eye on it, and reconsider if the situation improves.

Since I've been pointed here, I'd at least like to say that I'm very much open to feedback.
Let me know what you dislike about the API and I'll at least consider changing it.
