Custom End Music added with a Resource pack only plays for a split second and then stops

I added custom end music with a resource pack, but I've noticed that the music rarely plays and when it does it only plays for a second or under and then stops. I've yet to test if the same issue happens with nether music. I am using 1.20.1 forge.
