I don't know if it's intended or not, but the newest mob, the bird is declared as monster thus spawns, if you're playing without any custom mob spawner, only during nighttime.

PS: Where are wasp supposed to spawn? I have yet to find any, and honey and hives...

No, "EnumCreatureType.creature" They only spawn in the Promised Land anyway.

As for wasps, they spawn from mob spawners inside hives in the nether.
