I was playing on a server trying to repair my shield with eucalyptus wood planks which doesn't work.
The BOP wood planks do seem to extend plankWood as far as I can tell, if they do not this issue might be added to #1055

For safe measure I made a new instance with just the latest BOP (BiomesOPlenty-1.12.2-7.0.1.2350-universal) and mc 1.12.2, this gives the same result:

Leaving this up for a possible work around for BoP until forge fixes it.

If there isn't an easy workaround then its better to wait for forge to implement a "fix" on their end. Thank you.

I don't think we can make a workaround. Someone commented on that issue saying there's no way to do this in Forge yet.

The best work-around I can think of is to be able to craft BoP wood into vanilla wood. Possibly with a lossy exchange rate. This would also allow for boats to be made in BoP biomes.

I mean, it shouldn't be too hard to just get a few vanilla logs. A lot of our biomes have vanilla logs after all.
