What's the issue you encountered?

When swimming in Blood, looking through the liquid is completely clear, which doesn't feel right.

How can the issue be reproduced?

Place or find Blood in a world
Swim in it and observe what you see

Additional information

I am using Optifine. I've tried toggling settings or changing my resource packs, but the problem persists, so I don't think it's an Optifine bug. I haven't tested it without Optifine, my device/ launcher simply can't handle the mod without it.
