Biome Finder not working, throws Java error at server console

Issue Description:

I can't get the Biom Finder to work, it gives me no message in the game if it can't find the biome it just throws an error at the server console.
I have reproduced the same error with several different versions of both BOP and Forge, with and without other mods.
Logs in this post is from latest version of both.

Steps to reproduce:

Biom Finder really doesn't work for me at all, It can be reproduced by the following simple steps:

  1. Start a clean server with just newest forge(12.18.1.2011 for MC 1.10.2) and newest BOP(4.1.0.2040).
  2. Give yourself a Biom finder, a biom block and a pickaxe.
  3. Place biom block, mine it and combine it with the biom finder.
  4. Use biom finder, it starts to spin without any message, and the server console gives you an error

Additional Information:

  • fml-client-latest.log and fml-server-latest.log attahced.
  • latest.log from the server is also attached, includes the java error-messages.

Affected Versions (Exact numbers, do not use "latest"):

  • Biomes O' Plenty: 1.9.4-4.1.0.2040
  • Minecraft: 1.10
  • Forge: forge-1.10.2-12.18.1.2011

Earlier versions is also affected from what I have tested. For example Forge 12.18.0.2008 with BOP 4.1.0.2034.
