Biome aren't actually removed from generation

All biomes still appear in the world.
I am having the same issue as this. I want to use the BoP world type as my default generator so that I don't need to have issues with adding BoP biomes to default type. So, with the BoP type, I then want to replace most of vanilla biomes with the BoP biome for it. For example, I want to replace all forest/birch biomes with the woodland biome. But weirdly enough the biome gets replaced at spawn but then when i move somewhere else, the forest biome appears somewhere else Here is my script

I believe this is caused by hardcoded biomes, most of the ones you wanted to remove are hard-coded.
Are you generating with a vanilla world type? The remove command will not work in modded world types.
