setReplaceBiome doesn't work for BoP world type

I want to use the BoP world type as my default generator so that I don't need to have issues with adding BoP biomes to default type.
So, with the BoP type, I then want to replace most of vanilla biomes with the BoP biome for it. For example, I want to replace all forest/birch biomes with the woodland biome.
But weirdly enough the biome gets replaced at spawn but then when i move somewhere else, the forest biome appears somewhere else Here is my script
