I was trying to make street signs for my village, obviously as I've got this mod I find default signs quite bland, so I designed my own shape but cannot fit the text I'd like with a 16x16 resolution inside the sign. So I was thinking maybe some combination of vanilla signs with the chisel mod would allow this, but since signs are entities (I think), I dont think it'd be feasible to chisel them.

The only solution I can think of is allowing the addition of text to chiseled blocks, or more precisely maybe introducing a "Brush" which allows the drawing of pixels at a much finer resolution (aka not 16x16). This could be a standalone mod but it'd be important to get it working with bits and chisels.
