I broke down a glowstone to 7x7 bits and covered the outer edges with wood, to make a lantern that looks great, fits against the walls perfectly, except, it no longer glows.

In the closed ticket section, I saw someone posted that the chiseled glowstones will randomly glow or not glow, however, I have yet to place one that functions as a light emitter anymore. Is this something that could be added/changed/fixed?
