Are there any plans to port this mod to versions after 1.12.2 like 1.18 or even 1.19

As you can read in the README.md file or on curseforge, there are taskforces investigating on porting it. If you want to contribute to those efforts you can join the discord server. Also, porting will take a while, it will probably not even be finished in one year as currently Minema is being worked on.
