Fences always connect to angled blocks, even if it looks odd when they do.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Place down a fence, preferably a vanilla one.
2. Place a sloped block so that the slope-y bit faces the fence. Observe how the fence appears to connect to the slope-y block.

Additional Information

In vanilla fences don't connect to some blocks (e.g. glow stone) I'm not sure whether they should connect to carpenter blocks skinned as such blocks, but it's something to keep in mind:
