Other than placing the blocks in the shown orientations (error occurs whether they are given a block or not), I don't have anything special to reproduce it.

It is an issue with how block models and ctm get along. Will look into it

Thanks, that's what I was thinking. We aren't using that mod though. And the exact same thing is happening (same black texture along the sides of slopes when it's upside down). Here's the mod pack:

Maybe a conflict with Better FPS? I won't be near my computer to test that today though

It looks like it's a forge compatibility issue occurring on and after version 14.23.4.2746. I only installed Blockcraftery in a separate modded instance and narrowed down the mods (decided to add it to Stoneblock because I wanted the diagonal slabs), then the forge versions.

Seems to be at least 2 placements that I've found that cause the lighting/rendering glitch.

This really sucks so I hope you can fix it soon, it's a serious mod issue.

Have you guys figured out how to fix this? I also added this mod to the Stoneblock pack because I can't live without it. Unfortunately it's not usable with this bug. :(

There is a fix in dev, I'm away this weekend but hopefully I can a get it out next week.
