Blockus Barrels don't save items on server restart

When stopping then starting the server, the Blockus barrels are empty. Using the latest Blockus (2.0.1+1.16.4) and Fabric API (0.29.0+1.16) on Minecraft 1.16.4. I tested it on a new world with no other mods installed with the same result.
