[Suggestion] Neon Lights

I like the idea of light emitting coloured lights that act like blue stone wire but glows bright, but doesn't carry a redstone signal Its something I have always to be able to do this but no mod has the capability to do this and it seems really useful not just astetically but technicaly as you could use it to mark out pipe networks.
Thanks for reading my idea and I hope you take it into consideration...
EL wire is an even better idea it could glow so you could set up colour coded paths or you could create a light suit (Armour idea) like the dance troops that use it...
Hmmm... something like EL wire (Electroluminiscent wire) would be nice to have, yeah :P
