When you craft them in a regular crafting table they got a meta data of 88.
When you place them on the ground and then break em ( eather by fisting or pickaxe ) they get a meta data of 92 for some reson.

Duplicate of #140. We're working on splitting each multipart into its own item so we don't have to deal with metadata and NBT but it's already fixed.
