Pneumatic tubes do not connect to TE4 Terrain Smasher

As title says this happens when a T-Smassher is placed near a tube. https://imgur.com/a/Gguqw
Testing with other TE4 shows the tubes will recognize them. However I think it might be due to the terrain smasher not having a normal inventory.
I might have to retract this issue and ask for a closing. After some further testing i have found this issue is not limited to just BP tubes. But also the Tubes mod, ProjectRed-Mechanic, and BP. Chances are the terrain smasher is not doing something right.
