What were you doing when the issue happened?

Placed an observer above a block breaker to make a sugar cane farm, and routed redstone to avoid blocking the output of the block breaker.

What did you expect to happen?

Sugar cane to drop out the back of the block breaker instead of in the front.

What happened instead

Sugar cane dropped out the front and back of the block breaker.
