Some clients cannot join servers due to an issue with custom payload.

When you say some, this may be because of version mismatches. Make sure clients are running the same Blueprint version as the server. This may also be a bug with a Blueprint-dependent mod, not Blueprint itself.
I'm not able to reproduce this, and the crash report looks like there is an inconsistency between the serializer and deserializer.
