My mod doesn't work, I can't see the chunks I've loaded. What should I do?

It does when the Singleplayer Server View Distance is set (as it is in the first screenshot).

As for the "bug", what exactly is it you were expecting? The screenshots do look roughly like a render distance of 8 and your render distance is indeed set at 8 chunks. If you want to see more, then you need to increase that Render Distance slider. In your case 8 is even less than the server view distance (32), so the server will always just send you all chunks in your view distance and there's nothing for bobby to fill in.
