I know modpacks don't like updating their mods, but this is bit extreme, don't you think? Also, contributing.md should be read before posting issues
Well spotted. I thought it was suspect so I investigated the folder myself. Regrowth actually runs Botania version r1.8-249. The pack author simply forgot to update the version number.
Since neither tall grass nor vivid grass appear in the changelog since that version number, I assume this is either a prevailing bug or WAD. It's probably worth noting that vivid grass doesn't behave like normal grass in a bevy of ways (including plant interaction with vanilla plants and other mods alike - cannot be tilled, doesn't support spreading of glint weed for witchery, etc.). In terms of mod interaction, I would say anything not vanilla is probably out of scope.
Alas, 1.7 is not supported, though this may still be happening in 1.10.
