1.12.2 Ring of Magnetization Bug

Steps to reproduce:
- Put the ring into the Baubles slot
- hit Q
items do not drop they just get voided
cannot reproduce, either another mod is interfering with drops or something in your world is picking the items up
The world is relatively new, I have nothing around that can auto pick up drops. It maybe another mod, but at the same time the Actually Additions Magnet ring doesn't do it. I even loaded up a new world and spawned in both the tier 1 and tier 2 rings and it was still doing it.
Running into this issue just recently. I'm not sure if it's a problem with the ring or Baubles. The issue only happens when the ring is in a ring slot on bauble. If it's in my inventory, it works normally. Here's the error logs as I was watching it happen. I haven't made any updates to Botania or Baubles.
This must be the result of some strange interaction. I don't have any code to check item drop events or anything like that in Baubles., though it is odd that it seems to have started with the latest release.
I see, baubles' packetsync changed signature in the latest version so botania is having trouble calling it.
will update to either use the new constructor or use our own sync packets
There was a PR that would improve syncing. I tested it on my side and it shouldn't have broken anything, but I guess Botania does some creative things in that front :p

Same issue here.
Dropping items on the floor and then putting on the ring, works as intended. Dropping items on the floor whilst wearing the ring already, voids them instantly; either using Q or dropping them with the mouse out of the inventory.

Replacing Baubles with the previous version (Baubles-1.12-1.5.1) is the perfect workaround from a player's perspective. Everything is back to normal - no more voiding items.

When I've experienced the issue with a Dank/Null in my inventory that can collect the item, I couldn't interact with chests and inventories. Upon trying to disconnect, the server also crashed due to disconnecting twice.
I have the same problem ... sometimes it crashes, sometimes it doesn't. However, I have a crash report. It says exception in server ticks loop. I caught the bug on a video and tried it with another magnet (if it's helpful for you). Seems like the bug is on Botania's side maybe? I hope that this crash report can help you more and video as well.

Had the "dropped item disappear with magnet" bug myself, to which version of baubles I should downgrade ?
