Ring of Far Reach not increasing attack distance

Further Information

Steps to reproduce:

  1. equip ring of far reach
  2. now you can mine/build at an increased distance, but not attack entities.
    What I expected to happen:
    Attack range increases just like build/break range.

What happened instead:
Attack range stays the same.
