Issue description
We want to make the nether void in GoG eventually. Some content needs access if that happens.
List from Adarsh#4441 on Discord:
Currently we need a way to get the following:
- Mushrooms - the nether platform could have warped/crimson nylium, which can be bonemealed for the respective fungi (maybe a "purification" mana infusion recipe converting them to brown/red mushrooms could be implemented)
- Blaze rods - Blazes spawn naturally in a nether fortress bounding box (for alchemy catalyst), although an easier way might be to make blazes spawned via fel pumpkin drop rods in the nether
- Nether wart - can be made from blaze rods with an alchemy catalyst (crafted using blaze rods from above methods)
- Soul sand - can be obtained from piglin bartering
- Netherrack - there's a conjuration catalyst recipe but no way of getting more until then (nether bricks needed for fire rune)
afaik those are the only things gating progression in gog

Mushrooms, Nether Wart, Soul Sand, and Netherrack would be obtainable with #4313:
- Soul Sand and Nylium can be found in bastion chests
- Nether Wart can be found in nether fortresses
Mushroom "purification" would be nice but is not necessarily required, since Mooshrooms can spawn from the Cocoon.
Pixie Dust is needed to make the Loonium, which is gated behind the Elven Portal. Ways to get the items you mentioned are still required for progression pre-Loonium.
Several smithing templates (including netherite upgrade) are unobtainable in 1.20

If they’re part of vanilla loot tables, your loonium changes should cover that I reckon. The tide trim would come from rolling the guardian/elder guardian tables in monuments like you mentioned on disc.
More details here
Making the Nether fungi usable in the Rune of Earth recipe would mean a separate Nether mushroom -> overworld mushroom recipe isn't needed. Shrooms can be acquired from shearing mooshrooms (from a cocoon), the wandering trader or the bedrock ceiling anyways.
Also seems like changing the generator type in the world preset json from minecraft:nether to botania:skyblock lets you create a void nether, but when leaving and rejoining, sends you to an island in the nether (with water, roots and all). Probably related to island ownership, maybe just create an island around any portal made and don't apply island ownership?
