Guardian of Gaia II does not always drop loot

Issue description
I played many days and legitimately got myself powerful sword which killed GoG in 3 hits. He didn't drop any loot this way. I lost gaia ingot and half manapool of mana!
Steps to reproduce
- Get yourself sword with high damage
- Start empowered ritual of Gaia and kill him fast enough
- If he dies without flying up, there is no loot.

I suspect it's the Vorpal enchantment. The version from the Thermal series just randomly does much higher damage, and I can confirm that does give loot, even if the guardian is killed this way before the mob spawning phase. (This should be impossible in 1.20.1, as the damage limiting logic applies correctly now.)
If there's another version that just outright kills the mob without applying damage, then that would explain the lack of loot, as the gaia guardian does not support being killed that way.
I'll try to reproduce it in modpack ATM9 No frills and report exact gear and enchantments.
Not sure if any "damage limiting logic" is fair.
Give me an exact list of mods to install and exact steps to take, instead of ambiguous drivel like "LEGITIMATELY OBTAINED modded sword" or else this is untestable and unfixable.
Well, I cannot reproduce it without mods because GoG just ignores generic.attack_damage",Amount:1000000 in my vanilla tests. But I can sometimes oneshot GoG with LEGITIMATELY OBTAINED modded sword and then I got no loot. This happens about half of time (I suppose when I crit), another half of time boss fight phase transition happens and after he lands he does drop loot. Just make him please drop loot in any case, that's all.
I am afraid that 'fix' can be nerfing the ability to sometimes oneshot the guardian by bumping his resistanses or whatever.. If you agree to only fix him not dropping loot when sometimes oneshotted and keep the possibility of him being oneshotted without second phase, I'll gladly provide list of mods and which gear allows to reproduce it.
Do you want the bug fixed or not? You are not entitled to having it fixed "your way" (nor are you entitled to anything at all).
Withholding debugging information on purpose to try to force your way is not going to do what you want.
Last chance: Give me a minimized, reproducible, preferably vanilla setup that causes this to happen, or else go away.

Setup to reproduce:
Add all Ars Nouveau glyphs to Ars Nouveau Archmage Spellbook, get Mythic set of Apotheosis diamond armor,
upgrade it to Tier 1->2->3(Ars Nouveau)->4 (Ars Elemental - Aquamancer set) at Ars Nouveau Enchanting Apparatus
and socket in up to 4 gem slots in every armor piece with Apotheosis Superior Sigil of Socketing
Insert Ars Nouveau threads into armor:
Helmet: Spell Power III
Chestplate: Kindling II
Leggings: Shocking II
Boots: Chilling III, Spores II
Insert Perfect Apotheosis gems into gear:
Helm:
Perfect Gem of the Royal Family (+20% to all stats)
2 Perfect Gems of the Warlord (+20% to attack damage)
Take Apotheosis Mythic Diamond Sword, socket up to 4 gem slots, add enchanments:
Reactive VIII
Frost Aspect V
Sharpness X
Vorpal VIII
Insert Perfect Apotheosis gems into this sword:
Perfect Solar Gem (+8 Fire Damage)
Pefrect Lunar Gem (+8 Cold Damage)
Perfect Ballast Gem (+10 Attack Damage)
Perfect Endersurge Gem (+2 levels to all enchanments)
Reforge sword at Apotheosis Reforging table until it has some fire/cold and plain damage.
At Ars Nouveau Enchantment Apparatus, upgrade this sword to Ars Nouveau Enchanter's Sword.
Inscribe the sword with following spell at Ars Nouveau Scribes Table:
Hex->Freeze->Cold Snap->Amplify.
Craft Ars Elemental's Focus of Water and put in Curios "Spell Focus" slot.
Craft Ars Elemental's Water bangle and put in Curios "Bangle" slot.
Put Artifacts "Power Glove" in Curios hands slot.
Put Apotheosis Spell Charm "Spell Damage II" in Curios Charm slot
Activate Everlasting Abilities Totem "Strength" (at level 5)
Do Gaia fights several times - about half of tries he will die in 2-3 sword hits without starting spawning monsters and not dropping any loot.
