Missing Texture on my head

So, Botania renders a Patron flower on my head, except mine is a Tainthistle. Problem with this is that the Tainthistle is added by Forbidden Magic, which isn't 1.8.
In 1.7, I would just get a golden poppy on my head when FM wasn't installed, but it looks like in 1.8 I get a golden "Missing Texture" on top of my head.
