I believe some baubles are a little overpower that once you make it you have the effect. i was thinking that maybe they should use a small amount of mana while in use(in use not just worn).
for instances the Pyroclast Pendant should use up mana everytime it protects you from fire damage, maybe even a greater amount when protecting verses lava.
