Hello, as you can see in this album : http://imgur.com/a/AvYFI i am getting alot less fps. In my main let's play world i had normally around 60 fps. But when i did my this setup with spreaders and mana pools i have now around 10 fps. When i look away i get normal fps, any clue why ths is happening? i can get you more info if you want!

just by removing the spreaders in my world i get 60 - 90 fps with spreaders i had 10 fps

Try turning the shaders off in the config.

Was there anything in the dev console? Any errors or messages that seem out of place?

okay, i'm tinkering a little and it seems like it's the spreaders near the portal that's causing major fps decrease, i'm getting 60 fps now

no, nothing special happing in the dev console

Do you have factorization? Just speculation here so take it with a grain of salt, but I've had issues with particles with it.

i didn't have any issues with it before, it started when i did the blood magic lava and thermalily setup

before i just had loads of dayblooms

What is your forge and botania versions?

Does it still happen without factorization?

Try to do it with botania only and see if it happens, if so, send over the world so I can test it.

sorry, forgot it. i have moved on to 1.7.10 with a different pack without botania. but i will be updating my old pack to 1.7.10 when some of the mods update...i am looking at you thaumcraft!
