Unstable reservoir is targeting myself

no crash, just silly crap. this is with botania and baubles by itself with JEI and hwyla+wayla on the side while i was testing the pride ring...
Steps to reproduce:
Cheat in mana ring cause it's more mana than a tablet.
Cheat in some other baubles cause you were playing around
see unstable reservoir and look it up. See it's an offensive wand and it's meant to be homing.
spawn one in and use it for a little bit.
Realize that you're killing yourself too late and die to your own Genocider ray.
make an O_o face. then spawn 5 zombies, run around them and get your stuff and try using it again.
end up killing self yet again and zombies are completely unphased except for a few shots that went to them after killing yourself.
Feel like a right idiot and proceed to kill the zombies with your hands at close range cause pride ring still wasn't working and the staff is faulty.
What I expected to happen:
Rays would just fly off and do nothing, or target the zombies first and foremost.
What happened instead:
Shot myself and only myself until myself was dead and then shot the zombies with remaining shots still in the air. :V
