Items such as the aoe mining effect of the Terra Shatterer, the Rod of the Terra Firma, and mana bursts/the Mana Blaster will ignore vanilla spawn protection on servers.

The Terra Shatterer will only break protected blocks if the initial block you mine isn't protected.

The Rod and mana bursts work anywhere- Bore and Force lenses can be used to completely modify what's within the spawn chunks.
