Using Baubles 1.0.1.7, Botania r1.2-116 and ExU version 1.1.0k for MC 1.7.10 with Forge 10.13.0.1208.
Equipping a Ring of Far Reach when flying in the air with the wings from ExU seem to immediately just cancel the flying effect from the wings. Seems like throwing the wings out of your inventory and then picking it back up fix's it and re-equipping the Ring does not seem to do the flight breaking thing (For lack of a better word/words) after it has occurred once.

Probably an XU issue, in all reality. does it happen with any other ring? (paging @rwtema)

Seems to only happen with the Ring of Far Reach.

Doesn't seem to be something I can fix without breaking functionality.
