1.15.2 Mana inventory items not providing mana for items

Further Information
We use LAN to play with a friend and I read about this, that bubbles have an issue with LAN and that it is not working well back then. I am not sure if this is still present but the problem is a little bigger.
I tried a new world and I could get mana in inventory. If a friend joined the LAN he didn't have the mana, but it still worked for me. In this world, we are playing none of us has the ability to have mana.
I read that moving to dedicated server helps, yet even then I couldn't get it working for myself not even after others connecting. Is there a way to fix this so at least I can have mana or that we can safely move to dedicated with the system starting to work?
What I expected to happen:
Any player after having mana tablet in inventory have mana displayed over XP bar and be able to use mana items. Or at least one person.
What happened instead:
Nobody has ability to use mana items with mana in tablet or ring.
Side note:
I also have a problem with items in JEI being scrambled all over and not in order. I don't want to post this on Reddit or as a separate issue and don't feel like it is a big problem, but wanted to mention it anyway, if you would think this is interesting for some reason.
