Terra Shatterer not breaking area blocks/lagging when breaking individual blocks

Sorry for the poor quality/sound, I've never recorded anything but I figured it'd be easiest to show it this way.
I'm not sure if I'm just failing at something here or its bugged somehow.. But the Terra Shatterer lags when it tries to break an individual block and when I activate the AOE ability it usually doesn't register the break at all. This is done in single player.
I forgot to show it, but it's at rank B and I have a decently full mana tablet in my inventory.
Sorry if this is a waste of time and I'm just doing it wrong..
Removing most of the mods I was using fixes it... Guess its time to troubleshoot which mod is causing it. I'll comment on this again if I find the offending mod
Found the conflicting mod and submitted an issue with them, sorry for the confusion
And I forgot to mention, I'm playing on R1.3-137
I know it's not the latest, but I didnt see anything in the changelog about it for the 138 update.
