There is no increased range for being able to right-click sparks with a wand of the forest when the Ring of Far Reach is equipped. Additionally, when past the normal reach without the ring, one can interact with blocks (break, place, and open inventories) behind the spark which would normally be obstructed by it.

Probably some internal code messing it up, not fixing.
