@L0neKitsune, we have two choices.

• Make them not check (they'll fight over lightning)
• Make new ones neutralize old ones (old ones won't absorb at all if the new one is removed)

is having multiple trees steal lightning that bad?

That's intentional.

yes, but it's not good. we need to choose one of the behaviors I listed.

If they do fight, it's not that big a deal
I think that's better behavior than silently failing growth

I'll just remove it for now. I will likely revisit if it causes any problems
