JEI won't show upgrade recipes when clicking them from the search area

ATM10 v4.10
(manually updated to latest available Bookshelf and BotanyPots)

The Elite Upgrade, Ultra Upgrade, and Mega Upgrade do appear in JEI.
However, when you click them or press W, nothing happens. The various tiers of botany pots themselves seem to work just fine: I am able to click them from the navigation area and their recipe shows up in the center Crafting area, and I can press W to view their various uses. It is only the Upgrades that seem to have stopped working with JEI.
I don't recall their crafting recipe and Google doesn't show them to me, so I haven't been able to test if I can just craft with the ingredients manually instead of relying on JEI.
Edit: Also tried updating to latest jei-1.21.1-neoforge-19.22.1.316.jar, and that did not help, same non-functional behavior as described above.
