Describe the feature you have in mind.

I've never worked on any Minecraft mod, so I have no idea what supporting different versions entails.

If the author of this project has some pointers, like how to setup a proper development environment and what things need to be updated initially (ignoring the unknown changes those updates may require down the line) I could try to contribute.
