Steps to reproduce the behavior:
Use Electric Engine and link long long Golden Kinesis Pipe (maybe have 200 block), it will send large data package from server, then the server bandwidth load is too high and the player is kicked out.
I find the download rate rise from 400Kbps to 1.8Mbps.

Are there any unneeded data packets that can be optimized or some configuration can solve the problem?

I think this question due to the animation of energy in the pipeline.

Please update to the latest version and see if that fixed it: https://www.mod-buildcraft.com/pages/download.html

@LuigiHutch Sorry, after I updated to the latest version, the length of the energy pipeline has been extended. This problem still occurs. I feel that it is not reasonable to use such a large amount of data when using the energy pipeline, which will affect the online game experience.

right now with the beta state no pass has been done to optimize things yet. for now a quick fix could be to use additional pipes or similar to teleport the power across
