Opened this issue · 21 comments
I get a flicking screen when im near a quarry, YES i know its been posted but NOONE has awnsered it befor someone closes it i know everyone sais Jsut remove Optifine but i need optifine and ive seen youtubers have optifine and ftb unleashed with quarrys running and they dont get it so stop closing the issues befor people can awnser
no actualy theres a hotfix in the buildcraft configs to disable the quarry animation but i dont know where thats what i need
People can answer closed issues just fine, problem is there is no answer, there's no such thing as a config option to disable quarry animation.
And @laz2727 please be more polite...
And you need 160fps for?...
Anything more than 30 fps is just a waste of resources.

.Correction it's a buildcraft and optifine bug so it's indexed

Unless if you know how to fix it, or you have optifine source and know what the heck it does to rendering that causes this theres nothing we can do.
@Shaynecraft - I don't care whether you think it's a BC bug. This is not BC's problem and stomping your feet won't change the fact that the issue is closed and won't be handled here.

.My fix is run unity gnome classic on Linux ubuntu I dont get ur directx and
OpenGL glitches

@Shaynecraft, the flicker doesn't always happen because there are many variables. Variables such as better computers, etc.
Also, I'm relatively sure that your ability to play Minecraft does not depend on Optifine.

- OpenGL, not DirectX, and most certainly not DirectX if it's on Linux.
- This just shows that it's a operating system/desktop environment specific error. Not a BC one.
Try Googling OpenGL glitches in Gnome and see what you come up with, maybe there will be a fix there, perhaps updating your operating system. Either way, not a BC issue. Cool.

Playing with OculusRift seeing anything less than around 90-120 FPS is pretty bad experience.

.Exactly

Does either of you have Oculus Rift? Just because you should have 120fps when playing on a 3d head display doesn't mean that you should use "Max fps" on a normal display.
