Wires do not connect to adjacent pipes when placed on Wooden Pipe

Is this intended?
I believe so. They only connect if the pipe connects. Same for cobble/stone
pipes. You need a structure pipe if you want them to connect. (then as in
pipe wire).
Also between liquid/power/Iran pipes they need the structure pipe as a
bridge.
