This has been discussed before and the answer was no. Not the way it works at the moment anyways. The quarry has no durability so if you would enchant it, the enchant would last forever. So in that case we would have to introduce a component that lose durability with use. We'd also have to nerf several aspects of it so that improving it would actually provide a significant benefit without being crazy op. But fortune? No, I don't see that happening.

If you're referring to whether I go on the BC forums, that's a no. However, at a glance, I already saw two posts having to do with requests.

i have put it on the forum 5 days ago and nobody says anything about it, but in the meantime other people sugest other stuff and you don't tell them you can't post sugestions here while there is an enchantment tag? i don't get that

Maybe its kind of a lockup. By the way if you want enchanted quarries then use Quarry+ But what is good about a fortune quarry? They are useless and kind of expensive. And you get more resources when you run a quarry 5 times!

it would just me neat to get some smooth stone out of a quary or a chanse to get some more recourses for without having to run the quary 5 times

@AEnterprise, it's mostly up to the devs to decide whether or not to keep the issue open. In this case, an enchanted quarry has already been brought up 3+ times, so they're obviously going to close it new issues regarding it.

Frankly, most people I talk to think the Quarry needs nerfing, not buffing.

If you want to have enchanted mining use the Thaumcraft Arcane Bore.

mayby an stupid idea but what if you make the quary require a pickaxe to function? that pickaxe would get damanged by the digging (not as much as it would take from breaking the block by hand) that pickaxe could also be enchanted then
