Filler not Clearing

Just put buildcraft-A-1.6.4-4.2.1 in, and the filler works so far with everything but clearing. For some reason it is not clearing anything. I have not checked anything else.

When I change it to clear in the new interface, nothing happens, while still having clear selected, and I put blocks in, it starts to fill.

It sounds to me like something is not pointing the right way.

HTH to fix it. Thanks for the work so far.

Thanks for that, I did try it, but I missed something, because this time it worked.

After it starts working on a mode it will not switch to a different one.

If you break it, replace it, choose "clear" and then power it it should work.

The issue most people seem to have is that once the filler has started working on a mode you cannot change it until the filler has completed it's current task (when the indicator turns red), at this point you can switch to a different mode and it will work on that instead.

The biggest problem is that it's not obvious that it's started work on a mode the first time you place it, since the indicator is green by default.

There are a couple of ways to solve this that I can see:

  1. add a button in the GUI for confirming the mode before allowing the filler to start working
  2. Once it starts working on a mode, lock the mode selector so it's easy to tell that it's trying to work.

Hmm....it should...

er...well it should reset and restart if you change the pattern...

In fact, I don't see how it cannot, since it deletes the job whenever you change the pattern.

EDIT: Nevermind me....the GUI is using the wrong function -.-
