I have already seen the closed post @ #1434

and I am still getting this issue, with Minecraft Forge 10.12 latest public release, with the BuildCraft 5.0.4.67, I cannot fill my combustion engine with Fuel or Oil, and even with 20 powered redstone engines running to the Quarry, the Quarry will not run.

Edit -- Not sure if the Version Number indicates, I am on Minecraft 1.7.2

Redstone engines aren't supposed to be able to power more demanding machines or to provide power to a kinesis pipe network. They can power a pump if connected directly and that's about it.

You should be able to provide fuel into an engine with pipes. (MY dev environment have forge 10.12.0.1024 atm. so I was unable to confirm your findings.)
