Stripes pipes not placing blocks at the right location

They have the tendency of placing them either below or above, as opposed to always straight. We probably need an alternative for blocks, always placing them in the front.
Let's try to avoid over-engineering on that one. 6.0 will be the first release with the stripes pipe back. Let's put it out as-is and see how people interact with it.
Maybe the stripes pipe could have a GUI where the location can be set by colored filters like the diamond pipe.
